Saturday morning a fire broke out at about 9:30 a.m. at 45 Rosedale Street and quickly spread to the upper floors of the three-story building. Firefighters encountered heavy fire on the second and third floors of the building. Their work was complicated by ice-cold temperatures and powerlines that were situated in front of the home.

Everyone got out safely on their own, and the Red Cross responded to assist the 13 people who lived there.

Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
