SUSPECTS IN SHOOTING OF NEW BEDFORD DETECTIVE ORDERED HELD WITHOUT BAIL

Jackson and Thomas L. Scott III, 34, of Cambridge, both charged in Friday’s shooting of a city narcotics detective were ordered held without bail Monday for dangerousness hearings in New Bedford District Court.

Manuel-Jackson will have a dangerousness hearing on Feb. 3, while Scott will have his hearing at 2 p.m. Thursday, according to Judge Robert A. Welsh III.
