RI State Police Searching for Suspect Who Resisted Arrest and Struck Several Cars and a Building While Eluding Arrest
WEST WARWICK, RI – Rhode Island State Police are searching for a suspect who
allegedly resisted arrest and fled from police, striking several unmarked police
cruisers, other cars and a building before fleeing on foot after his car crashed in
West Warwick earlier today.
The suspect is identified as a Vincent D’Ambra, age 27.
D’Ambra allegedly fled when State Police tried to arrest him around 10 a.m. on Post
Road in Warwick as part of an ongoing investigation. D’Ambra allegedly struck
several unmarked police cars as he drove off.
D’Ambra’s car then allegedly struck another car and a building at the intersection
of Providence and Wakefield Streets in West Warwick, where he jumped out of his car
and fled on foot.
D’Ambra was last seen wearing teal-colored shorts and a white sleeveless t-shirt.
