Rhode Island Health Center Association celebrates Health Center Innovation and recognizes congressional delegation

Providence, RI – The Rhode Island Health Center Association (RIHCA) and Rhode Island’s community health centers will mark National Health Center Week 2016 with a Celebration of Community Health Centers: Innovators in Community Health. The event is part of a week long campaign (August 7-13) to celebrate the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers since the first health centers were created over 50 years ago. The celebration at Thundermist Health Center will mark the legacy of community health centers nationally and in Rhode Island by honoring Rhode Island’s congressional delegation and telling stories about innovation.
