 Pawtucket Central Falls Commuter Rail Station RhodeWorks Sign Unveiling

The City of Pawtucket, Mayor Donald R. Grebien, the City of Central Falls, Mayor
James Diossa, Director Peter Alviti of the Rhode Island Department of
Transportation, and Jan Brodie of the Pawtucket Foundation will unveil the RIDOT
RhodeWorks sign at the site of the Pawtucket Central Falls Commuter Rail Station.

The rail station, which is slated to open in 2020, will be located between Barton
Street, Conant Street, Goff Avenue, and Dexter Street at the city line between
Pawtucket and Central Falls. The rail station will be a stop on the MBTA commuter
rail line between Rhode Island and Boston. The RIDOT was awarded a $13.1 million
federal TIGER grant to build the station; the funds will be used in conjunction with
funds from RIDOT and the cities of Pawtucket and Central Falls to build the station.
