Man killed in Pawtucket

On November 12, 2016, the Pawtucket Police Department responded to 198 Sisson St for reports of a possible shooting. Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 21 year old male victim with a gunshot(s) wound. The victim was transported to Pawtucket Memorial Hospital for life-threatening injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital.
The investigation is fluid but Detectives are following up on several investigatory leads from eye witnesses.
At this time, the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence but a targeted incident. The Pawtucket Police Department will be deploying additional resources in the area to ensure the safety of the citizens.
