Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb Providence Sponsored by MetLife Auto & Home

Providence, RI (November 29, 2016) – The American Lung Association’s Fight for Air
Climb: Providence is proud to announce MetLife Auto & Home as its presenting
sponsor. The annual event will be held on Saturday, March 4 at the Omni Providence
Hotel at 9:00am. The 9^th annual Fight for Air Climb is expected to bring in nearly
900 climbers and hopes to raise $200,000 this year. Last year the event drew in
approximately 700 participants and firefighters from across Rhode Island, raising
about $160,000. Participants in the event “fight for air” by climbing the
building’s 348 steps over 22 floors, all to raise money to fight lung disease and
support clean air initiatives.
