6.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits California Coast
A 6.9 magnitude earthquake shook northern California coast this morning (Sunday night pacific time), as Reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake occurred at 9:18 pm local time about 4 miles under the seabed of the Pacific Ocean, about 50 miles west of Eureka.
There was no danger of a tsunami, said the Tsunami Warning Center in Alaska.
