WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt today announced plans for Woonsocket’s
2017 Earth Day Cleanup in recognition of the national environmental advocacy day.
This year, the City of Woonsocket is sponsoring a neighborhood clean-up in Woodlawn
Cemetery at the corner of Bernon Street and Manville Road, on April 15, from 9:00 am
to 1:00 pm.

«This year’s neighborhood cleanup is a great way to celebrate Earth Day and support
our efforts to maintain a clean, green, and healthy community,» said Mayor Lisa
Baldelli-Hunt. «I look forward to joining neighbors, friends, and residents in
cleaning up a section of our City as we recognize the importance of the environment
we live in.»

The City will provide gloves, trash pickers, and bags for all participants. For more
