Warwick man sentenced for possessing child pornography
Rhode Island – Warwick resident, Leonard O’Neill 58 years has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for the crime of possession of child pornography. O’Neill pleaded guilty to the charges last October. Court documents show that in 2012 authorities seized from the O’Neill residence nearly 20,000 images of child pornography showing minors having sex with adult men, some with babies, and acts of bestiality. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is trying to identify the victims in the images. O’Neill is set to appear before authorities on March 20 to begin serving his sentence, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release.
