Trio Arrested for Breaking and Entering in Central Falls
CENTRAL FALLS – On November 15, 2016 at approximately 9:45am the Central Falls Police Department received a call from a witness stating that three subjects had just exited the driveway of 293/295 Illinois Street. The three subjects were carrying a safe and some type of computer tablets along with other household items.
Fortuitously, a detective in an unmarked vehicle witnessed the three subjects carrying the items walking west on Valley Street. The three subjects began to run into adjacent yards when they saw marked police vehicles approaching the area. After a brief foot chase all three subjects were taken into custody and all items were seized.
The owner of 293/295 Illinois Street responded to the home and checked the first floor apartment which had an open window. A check of the apartment confirmed that a safe was missing along with two computer tablets and several other household items.
