O’Donnell, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of Public Safety, announces the arrest of a North Providence man on drug distribution charges by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force. On April 16, 2014, at approximately 8:00 , members of the HIDTA Task Force executed a court authorized search warrant at Winona Street, Building #25, Apt #9, North Providence, RI that resulted in the seizure of two hundred and eight (208) grams of crack/cocaine and $12,490 in United States currency.
