Raimondo, Senator Jack Reed and Goldman Sachs Executive Vice President John Rogers today celebrated the first graduation of the 10,000 Small Businesses program in Rhode Island, which expands access to capital and provides practical business education for small business owners based across Rhode Island. PROVIDENCE, – On Tuesday, Governor Gina M. Raimondo held a signing ceremony for a series of bills passed this year which recognize the contributions of Rhode Island’s veterans and expand opportunity for those who served our nation. The bills include legislation that allows private employers to provide a hiring preferences for veterans and protects jobs for Rhode Islanders serving in the National Guard.
