Rhode Island State Police Arrests Suspect in the Theft of a State Police Cruiser
Colonel Ann C. Assumpico, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and
Director of the Department of Public Safety, announces the arrest of a suspect in
connection with the theft of a State Police cruiser on Thursday morning.
The suspect, Donald Morgan, 35, of Providence, Rhode Island, was apprehended earlier
tonight in Cumberland, Rhode Island, by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive
Task Force. He is being held overnight pending arraignment on Saturday.
