RI STATE HOUSE — The House Republican Caucus has unanimously elected Representative

House Minority Leader. The House Republican Caucus has also unanimously elected
Representative Blake A. Filippi (R-District 36; Block Island, Charlestown, South

Leader Morgan declared: «It is a privilege to have the overwhelming support of my
colleagues in the Republican Caucus. I look forward to studying policies and
crafting legislation to address our stagnant economy, reform government, find
solutions to overregulation, and ultimately to protect the taxpayers. Rhode Island
should expect a robust agenda during our next legislative session.»

Whip Filippi stated: «I’m happy for the opportunity to advance individual liberty,
free markets and limited and clean government as Minority Whip. Adherence to these
principles will reform Rhode Island into the state we deserve.»
