PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Governor Gina M. Raimondo has ordered all Rhode Island flags to be flown at half-staff at all state facilities and buildings beginning at sunrise on Thursday, September 1, 2016. The flags will remain at half-staff until sunrise on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, in memory of former Pawtucket Mayor James E. Doyle, who passed away last week.

«Andy and I were saddened to hear of Mayor Doyle’s passing,» Raimondo said. «He was a true fixture in the city of Pawtucket, dedicating his life to serving the public. We send our prayers and condolences to the Doyle family and the people of Pawtucket.»
