Raimondo to Ceremonially Sign Holocaust and Genocide Education Legislation
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Governor Gina M. Raimondo will ceremonially sign into law legislation passed this year that requires middle and high schools to include holocaust and genocide studies in their curriculums. Rhode Island joins six states that have laws in place requiring all school districts to teach their students about the Holocaust and genocide, prejudice, discrimination or other related themes.
