President Obama Signs Cicilline’s BABIES ACT into Law

PAWTUCKET – U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI), who introduced the bipartisan BABIES Act earlier this year to make federal buildings more family-friendly by expanding access to baby-changing stations, issued the following statement after President Obama signed the proposal into law:

«Federal buildings are paid for by taxpayers and it’s important to ensure that they are as open, as accessible, and as family-friendly as possible. With this new law now in effect, Social Security offices, Post Office buildings, and courthouses will be more accommodating for working moms and dads in Rhode Island and across the country.»
