PRESIDENT OBAMA ENDORSES GINA RAIMONDO FOR GOVERNOR

PROVIDENCE, RI – President Barack Obama endorsed Governor Gina Raimondo today for reelection.

“I am honored to have the support of President Obama. For eight years, President Obama brought much-needed change to our nation. He strengthened the economy and passed the Affordable Care Act to provide millions of Americans with access to health care,” said Governor Raimondo. “Over the last four years, we’ve brought similar change to Rhode Island and we cannot afford to put that change at risk. I’ll continue creating jobs and standing up to protect the Affordable Care Act and the job training programs we started in Rhode Island during President Obama’s administration.”
