Pawtucket cops seize 5 firearms in two days
RI – On July 21, 2016 at approximately 1345 hrs., members of Pawtucket Police Special Squad executed a search warrant on the residence located at 21 Garden St. During the search of the premises, a Glock .40 caliber handgun was seized, along with narcotics, cash, cell phones and other items related to illegal drug distribution.
The suspect and target of this investigation, Carlos Depina, 19 years old, of the above listed address, has been charged with;
Using a firearm when committing a crime of violence
Possession with intent to deliver
Possession of scheduled substances
Maintaining a common nuisance
This is the 5th handgun seized in two days in the City of Pawtucket and is indicative of the efforts being made by the Pawtucket Police Department to confront criminal activity in the city.
