New England Institute of Technology Launches Fully Online Automotive Service
Management Bachelor of Science Degree Program

East Greenwich, RI – Dr. Douglas H. Sherman, Senior Vice President and Provost at
New England Institute of Technology, announced that the university will offer a new
fully online Bachelor of Science degree program in Automotive Service Management
(ASMX) in the spring of 2017. Designed for working automotive and transportation
professionals, this bachelor’s degree program combines a solid foundation in general
management with transportation focused technical and business courses designed to
prepare graduates for career advancement.

Designed to be flexible and convenient for busy working professionals, the online
ASMX program offers an accelerated academic schedule for students to obtain their
bachelor’s degree. Classes are scheduled within a ten-week quarter with four
academic quarters per year. This format allows students to earn their degree quickly
while taking into consideration work and personal commitments. New England Tech
offers quality, engaging online education with 24×7 technical support and a
dedicated student success advisor. NEIT’s online bachelor’s degree programs are
nationally recognized as one of the nation’s «Best Online Programs» by US News’
Online College Rankings (January 12, 2016).

The ASMX program is a balanced combination of technical, operations, general
management and automotive specific topics most relevant in the transportation
service industry. It also includes a full range of general business skills
transferrable to employment in other industries.
