Mayor Elorza to Announce Celebrate Broad Street Initiative Highlighting Substantial Broad Street Corridor Investments

PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Jorge O. Elorza will join elected officials, staff from the
city’s Planning and Development Department, Department of Public Works, and
Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, as well as community and business leaders to
announce an array of exciting projects, investments and initiatives along Broad
Street that aim to revitalize and enhance neighborhoods along the corridor. This
announcement follows community outreach efforts spearheaded by the city to help
create a comprehensive plan that reflects the community’s vision and priorities.
