Quarterly Event Open to Constituents

WARWICK, R.I. – Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) will host one of his quarterly Lunch
with Langevin events on Saturday, March 11, at noon at the Cowesett Inn in West
Warwick. This is Langevin’s 10th Lunch with Langevin, having previously visited
Coventry, Narragansett, Scituate, Providence, Westerly, Burrillville, Cranston,
North Kingstown, and Warwick.

Lunch with Langevin is a public forum that enables constituents of the Second
District to meet one-on-one with Langevin to ask questions or share their concerns
on any issues they wish to discuss. Constituent caseworkers are also on hand to
provide constituents with additional resources and schedule meetings. Pizza and
refreshments will be provided.

«Never before during my time in public service have I seen constituents more vocal,
engaged, and passionate about the issues facing our state and our country. It has
been an exciting and inspiring movement to witness, and I hope to continue these
productive conversations between Rhode Islanders and the officials they have elected
to represent them,» said Langevin. «Lunch with Langevin is a more personal, informal
setting through which constituents can speak with me directly and ask their
questions. The turnout at this event has steadily increased over the past three
years, and I’m looking forward to another great forum in West Warwick.»

Saturday, March 11 12-2 p.m.
Cowesett Inn 226 Cowesett Avenue, West Warwick
