Jan Brewer Will Not Seek A Third Term

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will not seek reelection for a third term as she herself said Wednesday.
This controversial Republican’s politics during her tenure had several confrontations with the government of Barack Obama for her anti-immigrant policy.
Brewer ended speculation about whether she would run for a third term.
«There comes a time to pass the torch of leadership, so after completing this term in office, I will be doing just that,» she said.
The governors of Arizona have a maximum of two terms in office. As Brewer came to power midway through her first term, many had speculated that she would run for re-election on the grounds that she had not completed the two-time term limit.
