Montrell Hopper (age 24)

On March 12, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Montrell Hopper with two counts of first-degree robbery, one count of using a firearm while committing a crime of violence, two counts of possession of a firearm without a license, two counts of possession of a firearm after a previous conviction of a crime of violence, and one count of carjacking.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime between August 15, 2018 and December 7, 2018. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 19, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

Kevin Thomas (age 24)

On March 12, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Kevin Thomas with one count of receiving stolen goods over $1,500 and possession with intent to deliver (marijuana).

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime on October 9, 2018. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 19, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.
