*Providence, R.I.* – Led by Rhode Island’s leading public school choice
organizations—including members of the charter public school and
independent public school communities—families, community members and
advocacy leaders from across the state will make their voices heard on
Wednesday, March 4 to protect public school choice options for Rhode
Islanders.
The rally will call on the need for state leaders to protect and provide equitable education funding for all public school students, including those that attend charter, independent, career and technical public schools.
Speakers will include Central Falls Superintendent Fran Gallo; Beacon Charter School Principal Michael Skeldon; Lt. Governor Dan McKee; students,alumni and parents from charter and independent public schools.
