Governor to Visit Newport’s Rogers High School to Discuss Free College Tuition Proposal

PROVIDENCE, RI – Governor Gina M. Raimondo will visit Rogers High School in Newport tomorrow to talk with students about the Rhode Island’s Promise free college proposal. Senate President M. Teresa Paiva-Weed will join the Governor.

Raimondo’s plan guarantees two years of free college for Rhode Island students at the Community College of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College, and the University of Rhode Island, beginning with high school seniors who will graduate this spring.
