FSRI’s CORPORATE PARTNER TO DELIVER 72 TURKEYS FOR SOUTH PROVIDENCE FAMILIES

PROVIDENCE, RI, November 15, 2017- Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) corporate partner East Commerce Solutions will deliver 72 turkeys for Mary E. Fogarty Elementary students and their families on Friday, November 17, at noon at the school’s front entrance at 199 Oxford Street, in Providence’s Lower South Providence neighborhood.

As many as 94% of the school’s students qualify for the federal subsidized lunch program, compared with the 48% statewide rate. Students in FSRI’s Walking School Bus program, which promotes school attendance, will receive the turkeys as will others at the school.

East Commerce Solutions, based in East Providence, Rhode Island, is a merchant services company providing retail, restaurant and mobile payment processing solutions. The company had contacted FSRI for guidance on where to direct turkey donations, and has worked with FSRI on turkey donations in the past.
