Just hours after announcing the closing of its California resort, Disney appears to be doing the same for Florida’s famed Walt Disney World Resort.

According to a press release, the theme park will close to the public this Sunday, March 15. Disney Cruise Line will suspend all departures starting March 14. Both will last through the end of the month.

The hotels at both resorts will remain open, according to the release. The company is asking for employees who can work from home to do so.

Walt Disney Company said they will continue to pay there cast members during the closure period.

«In an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our guests and employees, we are proceeding with the closure of our theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Paris Resort, beginning at the close of business on Sunday, March 15, through the end of the month,» the Walt Disney Company said in a release.

Universal Orlando Resort announced it will close at end of business on March, 15. Officials believe it will remain closed through the end of the month, but they said they will be evaluating the situation.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Hotel and CityWalk will remain open.

Universal Orlando Resort said they have created programs to those who’ve booked travel packages or tickets with them.
