PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Jorge Elorza along with the City of Providence Department of
Planning and Development, join with residents and community stakeholders for a
public meeting regarding the redesign of the 6-10 Connecter monday night. Last March, the City began a public
engagement process and held two public meetings to touch upon the possibilities for
the connector. During these forums, input from community members, experts, and
national leaders was provided to the Department of Planning and Development.
The meeting is an opportunity for the City to present the alternative
designs that take into consideration the needs and priorities of various
stakeholders while yielding the best return for the City and State.
