Cicilline Wishes Jewish Community a Sweet Rosh Hashanah

PAWTUCKET – U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline (RI-1) issued the following statement:

«Tonight, as the sun goes down, I will join family and friends in celebrating Rosh
Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. We will join others all over the world in a spirit
of personal reflection and renewal.»

«The High Holy Days provide us an opportunity to contemplate the past year and to
think about the coming year. In doing so, we consider how we can improve ourselves,
our community and the life of our nation. This is an important time for prayer and
thoughtful reflection.»
