Chinese Satellite Images Are Not the Lost Malaysian Plane
Malaysian authorities reported that Chinese satellite images allegedly showed wreckage disappeared on Saturday were wrong.
Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told reporters at a Kuala Lumpur that a Malaysian Navy aircraft had moved to where the pictures showed three objects floating but had found nothing .
Hussein added that the Chinese authorities had indicated that these images had been released by mistake.
The minister also denied the reports that the plane’s engines traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing continued to send information after contact with the aircraft was lost.
«The situation is unprecedented . MH370 ( the flight number of the missing plane ) lost contact while flying over the open ocean. We ‘re in the middle of a multinational search involving many countries and more than 80 ships and aircraft. It is a critical situation, a complex operation that has not been easy,» concluded Hussein.
