Central Falls City Hall to host President’s Day celebration

CENTRAL FALLS – This Friday, February 19, Central Falls is hosting a President’s Day
celebration in honor of our nation’s past Commanders in Chief. This fun event for
all ages will be held at 5:30 pm in the council chambers of City Hall at 580 Broad
St.

“Our President’s Day celebration gives us the opportunity to share important aspects
of this country’s history with our community and especially our youth,” said Mayor
Diossa. “It’s my hope that we are all able learn something new about the life and
lessons of some of our nation’s greatest leaders.”

Friday’s celebration will be highlighted by an appearance from a George Washington
re-enactor and a presidential themed photo booth. Complementary refreshments and
food, sponsored by Navigant Credit Union, will be served as well.
