WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND – JULY 20, 2018 – The Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) mobile recruiting team will exhibit its extensive educational offerings for residents of all ages under a tent within Woonsocket’s World War II Veterans Memorial Park on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Woonsocket marks the first of six Ocean State municipalities the team is expected to visit next week. The opportunity grants City residents with direct access to key CCRI admissions representatives who can provide valuable information and field questions about enrollment, admissions, student support services and financial aid, including free tuition through the Rhode Island Promise Scholarship program.

«I am elated that CCRI has selected our community as its first stop during this highly important informational exhibit,» said Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt. «This presents a great opportunity for residents of all ages to start their day with a visit to one of Woonsocket’s many recreational sites and gather essential education information.
