Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island continues outreach on Latino Public Radio
Latino Public Radio and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island has been partnering for the past two years broadcasting a talk radio program called Sin Seguro (The Uninsured). Sin Seguro is a one- hour monthly talk show hosted by Dr. Pablo Rodriguez, with a representative of Blue Cross that offers information about resources available to the uninsured and the underinsured population and helps educate the listeners about the healthcare system.
This year Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island has decided to expand their group of representatives by involving more of the Spanish speaking employees from different departments to improve access to health services for Latinos living in Rhode Island and improve their health at the same time.
The first talk show of the year was on February 18th, introducing the new group of co-hosts of Sin Seguro. Maria Tateosian , Member Information Coordinator, with BCBSRI for over 32 years host the talk show and introduces the new team.
