Cranston – Colonel Michael J. Winquist, Chief of the Cranston Police Department, in partnership with the United States Department of Homeland Security RI Human Trafficking Task Force announces a multi-agency operation involving members of the Cranston Police Detective Division Special Victims Unit; along with Home Land Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Rhode Island State Police, Providence PD, Seekonk PD, Narragansett PD, and East Providence PD conducted an operation targeting human traffickers, specifically those victimizing juveniles. This operation was conducted with the support of DayOne and the Auburn Center. On Monday, March 7, 2016, and Thursday, March 11, 2016, the team of Detectives and Agents set up at an undisclosed location in Cranston. The operation targeted individuals exploiting juvenile and adult victims via the Internet for purposes of human trafficking and prostitution.

The operation resulted in the arrest of the following:

Tyreik Grundy, 20, of Pawtucket, taken into custody for a bench warrant out of 6th District and transported to the ACI.
Yuleysi Garcia, 21, of Providence, charged with one count of prostitution and one count of human trafficking where the victim is a 16-year-old juvenile female. Held for arraignment in the morning.
Devon Brown, 23, of Everett, charged with one count of pandering. Held for arraignment in the morning.
Joshua M. Belanger, 41, of Marion, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Jason Still, 41, of West Warwick, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Patrick Perkins, 44, of Hingham, charged with one count of procurement of Sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and Released .
Hugh J. Smith, 53, of North Smithfield, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and Released.
Anthony Patrick, 26, of Providence, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee and one count of resisting arrest. Arraigned and released.
Jason Marrocco, 33, of Warwick, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Peter Fidas, 42, of Warwick, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Andrew S. Codagone, 28, of North Providence, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Mutabe Aljaghtham, 30, of Kingstown Road, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Nestor Padilla, 38, of Providence, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Steven Harrop, 52, of Norton, MA, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
Robert Woodstock, 54, of Coventry, charged with one count of procurement of sexual conduct for a fee. Arraigned and released.
