Zoe Saldana Gives Birth! Actress Welcomes Twins With Hubby Marco Perego

The 36-year-old Star Trek star and her hubby Marco Perego have welcomed twins, according to E! Online, which reported that Zoe and Marco «are both so excited.»

«They are surrounded by family and friends,» a source told the site. «All that matters now to Zoe and her husband is that the babies are healthy.»

Before giving birth to their babies, Zoe didn’t seem worried about what motherhood would bring, telling the site back in October, «It’s almost like a redundant question, because whether I’m ready for it or not, it’s inevitable. I’m there. I’m in it. I’m gonna have to be ready.»

After much speculation, Zoe confirmed in July (via her agent) that she was pregnant. The twins are the first children for the couple, who tied the knot in a secret ceremony in 2013 in London.
