Waiver for the NECAP

Rhode Island – Some Rhode Island students who have secured admission to 2 or 4 year universities or colleges need not be subjected to the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) to ensure they receive their high school diplomas . This was announced by a Rhode Island Education Department spokesperson, adding that it has provided information and guidance to school superintendents last January 3 who may now issue waivers for NECAP tests starting with students graduating this year.
