Teen-girl arrested and charged with narcotics trafficking

CENTRAL FALLS – On August 16, 2016 members of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) executed a court authorized search warrant upon the fourth floor apartment of 33 Sumner Avenue.

Upon entry into the dwelling the target of the investigation, Digna Manon (19) of Central Falls was located and placed into custody. A systematic search was then conducted throughout the apartment where a sizable quantity of heroin was located and seized. Manon was transported to the police department for processing and held overnight until her arraigned this morning at 6th District Court in Providence.

Manon was charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute and distribution of narcotics in a school zone. She was given bail in the amount of $30,000.00 with surety with a future court date of October 26, 2016.
