Statement from Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt regarding the relocation of laboratory,
biotech, and pharmaceutical equipment sales company Surplus Solutions, LLC (SSLLC)
to the former Lowe’s on Diamond Hill Road

Woonsocket, RI: I am pleased to welcome SSLLC to the City of Woonsocket at the site
of the former Lowe’s along Diamond Hill Road. The introduction of a new business,
like SSLLC, into our community strengthens our local economy and represents
continued momentum for Woonsocket. This property in particular offers great
opportunity to operate, expand, and invest in. Rhode Island has benefitted from
strategic incentives like the Qualified Jobs Incentive Tax Credit, which has helped
attract businesses to our state.
