Rep. Hull congratulates Providence United under-10 girls’ soccer team for tournament win

STATE HOUSE – Rep. Raymond A. Hull (D-Dist. 6, Providence, North Providence) is congratulating the Providence United under-10 girls’ soccer team for their recent win at the Global 5’s Massachusetts Regional Tournament.  With their tournament win, the team has been invited to participate in the Global 5’s National Tournament to be held in New Jersey in July.  The Providence United team is the only Rhode Island team to be invited to the national tournament.

“These young women deserve distinct praise and congratulations for representing their city and state so well during their recent tournament win and I have no doubt they will make us all very proud at the national tournament in July.  I wish them the best of luck in New Jersey this summer and I urge everyone else in the city and state to do the same,” said Representative Hull.

The Providence United team is the only competitive youth soccer team in Providence.  Global 5’s is a nationwide youth 5-a-side soccer tournament created specifically for boys and girls players aged 8-16 years and uniquely designed to crown the USA’s youth 5-a-side Regional and National Champions.
