Raimondo to Attend First Manufacturing Advisory Council Meeting Tomorrow
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Governor Gina M. Raimondo will kick off the first Governor’s Manufacturing Advisory Council meeting tomorrow.
In January 2017, Gov. Raimondo signed an executive order establishing the Rhode Island Manufacturing Advisory Council for the purpose of advising the Office of the Governor and the Rhode Island Executive Office of Commerce on ways to better support Rhode Island manufacturers, assess efficacy of and demand for new policy proposals, coordinate and market existing resources for manufacturers, and promote job growth in Rhode Island. The council is made up of a wide array of Rhode Island manufacturers and affiliated organizations.
