Ocean State Job Lot Hosts ‘Dog Days of Summer’ Rhode Island Grill Out

Congressman David Cicilline along with Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation Executive Director David Sarlitto will be among the volunteers serving hot dogs, chips and ‘fancy’ water at the McAuley House in Providence during ‘The Dog Days of Summer Event’

In typical Job Lot fashion, the hot dog donation was not enough. Reaching out to suppliers, OSJL was also able to obtain cases of Polar Water from Worcester, cases of flavored Perrier Sparkling Water from France, and cases of Aquavia water from the springs of Romania, along with chips from the Herr’s company.

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation is dedicated to using its connections and access to quality food and drink to solving the nation’s food insecurity problem. It donates 11 million meals annually to the 8 states in which it operates.

The event is in 13 locations all over RI between 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
