Mayor Grebien Welcomes Fit Fam to Pawtucket with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
PAWTUCKET – Mayor Donald R. Grebien welcomed Pawtucket’s newest business, Fit Fam, to the City wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Fit Fam is a healthy kitchen committed to providing healthy food choices to diners. “We want to be able to provide not only a healthy kitchen, but a healthy lifestyle to our customers,” said Roberto Franco of Fit Fam. The cuisine offered at Fit Fam feature all-natural, non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) foods that are prepared by chefs and staff nutritionists with the health of their customers in mind.
After samplings from the menu were provided for the many in attendance which included State Representative Jean Philippe Barros and City Councilor At-Large Sandra Cano, the Mayor, staff and patrons gathered outside to cut the ribbon and officially welcome Fit Fam to the City.
“Throughout the country, healthy food choices and resources can be difficult to come by,” said Pawtucket Mayor Donald R. Grebien. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Not only will Fit Fam be contributing to the overall health and fitness of the Pawtucket community, but it will also be contributing to the local economy and we are proud that they have chosen to Join the Evolution here Pawtucket,” continued the Mayor. “We chose Pawtucket because we want to see the community grow with us as we grow with our family,” stated Roberto Franco.
