Mayor Grebien to hold community meetings throughout October
PAWTUCKET — Mayor Donald R. Grebien is holding his second round of “Mayor’s Community Meetings” this year at schools throughout the city, which began on Thursday, October 2 at the Flora S. Curtis Elementary School, 582 Benefit St.
The meetings are offered as an ongoing opportunity for residents, business people, or any member of the public to express any concerns, problems, or ideas regarding the city directly to Mayor Grebien and appropriate department heads.
Other scheduled meetings are: Tuesday, Oct. 7, Goff Junior High School, 974 Newport Ave.; Thursday, Oct. 9, Fallon Memorial School, 62 Lincoln Ave.; Tuesday, Oct. 14, Francis J. Varieur Elementary School, 486 Pleasant St.; Thursday, Oct. 16, Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School, 50 Whitman St.; and Tuesday, Oct. 21, Nathanael Greene Elementary School, 285 Smithfield Ave.
All meetings will begin at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. The public is invited to attend.
