Mayor Elorza to Join Community Members for One Providence Announcement Announcement to Focus on Hate Crimes; Reporting and Documentation

PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Elorza will join religious leaders, community members and
public safety officials for a One Providence announcement regarding documentation
and reporting of hate crimes in the City of Providence. The initiative will assist
individuals seeking support dealing with hate crimes and is part of Mayor Elorza’s
One Providence initiative aimed at protecting and serving every resident of the city
regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation,
political affiliation, religion, or disability.
