Mayor Elorza and Community Partners Celebrate Renovations at Warren Street Park

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Renovated Warren Street Park

PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Jorge Elorza continues his commitment to investing in parks
by joining Councilwoman Mary Kay Harris, Parks Superintendent Wendy Nilsson, and
DownCity Design in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Warren Street
Park. Improvements to the park include the addition of a custom wooden play
structure built by the Partnership for Providence Parks and DownCity Design youth, a
brand new play element, a Little Library, as well as new barrels and signage.
