LPR Will Be Celebrating Dominican Republic Independence Day

Latino Public Radio (LPR) is celebrating Dominican Republic’s Independence Day with community leaders, advocates and avid listeners to help kickoff the Dominican’s festivities.

LPR will start the week of February 15th with special cultural programs as well as music and news segments dedicated to the Dominican Republic until February 27th.

Saturday, February 27nd, we will gather a number of extraordinary Dominican individuals and identify their exemplary leadership in support of the Latino community, and for bringing attention to important issues affecting Dominicans and the community at large. This celebration will take place at Wes’ Rib House,  38 Dike Street, Providence RI and it will start at 7:00 pm.

Tickets are $60.00 per person
