A selection of unreleased tracks from the legendary British band Led Zeppelin goes on sale next summer, along with a reissue of their first three albums, as published on the group’s website.
New versions of the first three works, remastered by guitarist and leader Jimmy Page, will be sold from June 3 with a disk of exclusive content, rescued from the archives of one of the most mythologized bands of the 70s.
Page, guitarist and producer, said it is «a selection of unfinished works, rough mixes, alternate versions and new material recorded at the time.»
The unpublished content, which will go on sale in different formats contains a performance recorded on October 10, 1969 at the Olympia Theatre in Paris, and a fifteen minute version of the song «Dazed And Confused».
An unknown recording, called » La La » and early versions of some of his most famous songs and pieces of the recording sessions of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and the late John Bonham are also included.
Led Zeppelin was formed in 1968 and dissolved in 1980 , after becoming an icon of modern music with over 300 million albums sold worldwide .
