Our theme for this year is healthcare because of the sweeping changes that have taken effect not only in RI but also throughout the country. Affordable healthcare is extremely important and we are recognizing those who have contributed to the effort of expanding healthcare in Rhode Island.

Join us for what is bound to be an exceptional night. We will be honoring a number of people and recognizing them for their exemplary leadership in the Latino community.

Our Keynote Speaker for the evening is Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Roberts.

We will be honoring Dr. Michael Fine with the Community Champion Award. He is the first individual to receive the award, and was chosen because he has dedicated much of his career to improving healthcare and making it accessible to all. 

Neighborhood Health Plan of RI will be receiving the Honorary Lifetime Member Award. Through this award we are able to recognize NHPRI undying support and continued partnership with LPR to inform and educate the Hispanic community. 

Receiving the Community Excellence Health Awardwill be the Rhode Island Health Center Association. This award is in recognition of their work to support, sustain, and strengthen community health centers and by serving as the network manager for the Navigator program.

The final honoree is HealthSource RI which will be receiving the Corporate Community Excellence Award. They have played a vital role in connecting Rhode Islanders to affordable healthcare coverage through the state health exchange. We wanted to recognize their role in providing tools, resources, and information to the community so that they can stay informed and healthy.
